I hated Leeds the last time they were in the premiership, but now... I'm hoping they come thru, how strange

I'm hoping Leeds go up, too. Watford play a horrible long-ball game - at least Leeds try and pass it a bit.

Yeah we were poor today ,very disappointing ,the championship is a tough league to get out of .

We looked too slow all over the pitch ,watford on the other hand used very effective tactics and won the game quite easily in the end .

Well done to watford .

I remember hearing that Watford hadn't beaten any of the other play off clubs in the league this year with Palace beating them both home and away yet when it came to the crunch they certainly produced the goods sticking three past Palace in the last round plus another three past Leeds today.

Gutted.

And kinda puzzled at our tactics. One up front ?? With strikers of the quality of Blake and Healy on the bench ? I think Blackwell got it wrong today, whereas Watford went for it from the first minute.

May I just congratulate Watford, and hope that we can go one better next season.

Marching on Together !

Ian.

I do think that Leeds need at least one more season in the Championship, otherwise they might end up doing a Sunderland type embarrasing season. Obviously I can only go by what I've seen on the telly though.

Good point John.

Though I'm sure the money that comes with a season back in the Premiership would have come in handy

Can't help thinking that we're lacking a quality midfield player. If we'd had Jason Koumas last season, we'd probably have nicked automatic promotion.

If we can add someone of that quality during the summer, then next season could be our year. If not, you've gotta fear for Blackwell's future, Mr Bates doesn't suffer fools gladly !

Ian.

quality creative midfielder and a left back needed.

Pugh and Wright have gone, Wright was being paid too much and never looked good... although for some reason he scored a few goals and was our most creative player in our first season down... weird!

Agreed. I wasn't all that convinced by Leeds during last season. Still, none of the chasing pack looked that good. Unlike Watford though, Leeds did look as though they had a little more in their locker than long balls and hefty throw-ins.

Still, as the Leeds fans have said, they looked poor on the day and that needs to be addressed in the summer.
