Queroz is more than likely on his way to Benfica . See here .

Could this mean that Ronaldo could be on his way as well , Will Ruud stay ? Who will be Fergies number 2 ?
Hmmmmmm

Na Ronaldo will be too expensive to pry away. I am sure he wants to stay at United.

Ferguson is the one they need rid of. He's been there too long chasing his dream of going out at the top, like in '99 when he should have gone.
He was great when he had the deepest pockets in the premiership, and his trophy cabinet proves he knew what he was doing.
But it's time to say goodbye.
They're just waiting for O'Neill.

When you see Chelsea signing Ballack & Arsenal signing Rosicky, Man Utd really need some decent midfielders if they wanna keep up. Especially if they're kicking Van Nist out.

Forget O'neil(his football is boring),we should have gone for Guus Hiddink.

As for the midfield, the fact that we finnished 2nd without one for most of the season says to things are not as bad as they seem.

Or perhaps the quality in the premiership is not what people make out .

OMG! I agree with MadC! First O'neil's stuff is pretty boring (but, successful) second the premiership isn't what Skyspin makes it out to be. Look at this season. Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are all either going thru 'transitions' or relying too heavily on one player (Rooney, Gerrard, Henry) to be called 'quality sides', yet finished 2,3,4, and an 'effective' Chelsea, let's be honest walked it. In the cups West Hams hope of breaking the cycle of the 'Big five' winning everything were snuffed out, and Utd hammered Wigan. Can we see any liklihood Of change next year? Nope.

It will any one from those four again, with Chelsea (and Ballack!) hot faves for the three in a row. Unless you support one of the big five it's become very booooooooring!

I agree the Prem is becoming a boring league, over the last 5 years the game has really tightened up tactically, I guess thats the price of big business.
