Tonight's Champs League Predictions Liverpool & Arsenal

Getting excited now!!

I'm gonna stick one right out there & say Madrid will win 1-2 & go through on the away goal rule....

Liverpool will nearly cock it up but win 3-1 & cruise through...(just like last time)...

I will be extremely happy if Arsenal were to draw 1-1

Liverpool are struggling to score so i reckon it will be a 0-0 draw

Just got a sneaky feeling that Fowler will score (mind you, i've had that for a month now)....Luck is gonna be on our side & for once at Anfield, the opposition goalkeeper won't win man of the match!!

I cant see that Arsenal defence holding out again against Real, Eboue, Toure, Senderos and Flamini done well last time but you have to feel Real miss a trick.
In saying that with Raul Bravo in the Madrid side they do not look the most solid.
I think it will be up to Mr Henry to get Arsenal through as I think they may have to score.
2-0 Madrid (But I would say that )

Madrid are overrated so I fancy Arsenal to hold them to a draw and sneak through. Watching Madrid this year has been an eye opener with their difference being questionable at best. Woodgate is injured and is replaced by Raul Bravo, any Leeds fans want to comment? Henry will have a least one opportunity, so 1-1 it is then. The Galacticos are losing their power......

Liverpool are the specialists in Europe and will fancy their chances of defeating Benfica 2-0 with the second probably needed in extra time ....... Fowler scoring? He's probably Liverpool's best goal threat up front, although that says more about Crouch, Cisse and Morientes than it does Robbie......

LOL! That's exactly what they need.

Minor miracle.

Having had 4 Brit clubs in the comp prior to yesterdays events, it's now looking fairly certain that it'll be down to 1, with the distinct possibility that it could be 0

some of the worst diving i have seen in a while, crouch, cisse, morientes and gerrard the first 15 to 25 minutes i thought it was only a matter of time before we scored but as soon as crouch started sprawling and morientes shouting for handball i knew they had lost there confidence all ready.calamity on our part for the goal but still a wonderfull finish by simao.

RAFA FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST GET RID OF MORIENTES AND CISSE

Watching Ronaldo these days is like watching a sad washed up old heavyweight boxer trying for one last fight.

If we'd had Ronaldinho, Henry and Rooney we'd be above Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool and have the league won!

Benetiz mistake or the worrying state of Liverpools finances? The three strikers this season have not looked good, and yet we still thought it a good idea to get rid of Mellor and Pongolle(the only other striker with any pace) on loan.

I have a source (very close to the club) who tells at least two of those will be signing in the summer

Good result and a good game at Highbury. Beating Real is still a huge scalp regardless. Liverpool? What happened there? I was expecting a 2-0 the other way! Started well enough, but as someone said, soon started griping for every tackle in the box, and faded very fast. Benfica had few chances and took two of them. Good finishes each time though.

Disappointed there's only us left now..............

mellor would have never had made it in the prem plain and simple, pongolle looks quite a good little player considering the lack of games he actually gets,my only hope is crouch and fowler get a run together as cisse couldnt buy a goal and morinetes has the pace of a rover metro going uphill.

kewell and garcia let me down and gerrard and alonso did there best most the time but dear oh dear if big sami is injured longterm and we have to put up with another of houlliers gems (traore) we are ****ed.i also dont think warnock is upto scratch as a riise replacement though he does try incredibly hard.then we had finnan playing suicide football and nearly losing a goal early on (i think it was onside aswell so thank christ for blind linesman) then it was back to the babb and ruddock days.

Never wanna see Traore in a liverpool shirt again.

The only bad game I've seen Carragher have since Henry put 3 passed him 2 years ago.. I think we actually look better with Hamann in the team, Alonso's great but can't do the same job + his bit.... Gerrard was everywhere again, what more can he do without decent strikers. Fowler is worth a year contract, he's hit the back of the net 3 times so at least he's in the right place & can shoot unlike the others. Crouch tried hard but if only he had scored those early two efforts - the 2nd was a piece of cake

...Quite happily never see Morientes in a Liverpool shirt again too...

Totally agree! the problem with Traore is he thinks he is better than he actually is.......

I really can't make my mind up about Cisse, Morientes just awful & Crouch (my missus loves him & won't have a bad word said about him) the chance he had when Gerrard put him through bloody hell it was harder to miss than score!

I'm gutted, mind you we are champions until May

Isn't it funny how all the Everton & Man Utd fans feel they have to comment today & extract the urine now that we have lost, however they didn't congratulate us when we won it against all the odds! very strange that? quick to criticise and slow to praise comes to mind............
