not sure if this is the right place to ask, but did anyone manage to record the Calzaghe v Lacy fight in high quality onto a DVD?? I missed the fight and all my mates are saying it was one of the best fights i'll see.

wouldn't say it's the best fight you'll see - it is the one of the most impressive showings from a boxer you'll see. very one sided but a masterclass none the same.

I thought that this show on ITV4 was excellent. I loved the way that Calzaghe gave his view on how the fight progressed. When he spoke about the behind-the-back punch as being "worth losing a point" was priceless

Obviously im no pro boxer, but Lacy looked lethargic. I guess that was because he was outboxed tactically, but at some point I would have thought he would have started swinging.
It looked like Calzaghe could have hit him all week before he would get a knockout though.

Did anybody hear Lacys comments? Would be interested to hear what he said about it all. As much credit as we want to pour on Joe, we should also be pouring discredit on Lacy, it was truly awful for someone rated so high.
