I thought they were being played midweek as not to lose a whole weekend to the FA Cup so Sven's men can finish the season early. However, chaps on the radio are saying Friday-Monday, one a day so I'm lost how that helps anyone (except TV), apart from the fact there's no possible replays this time..

Just glad that with an away draw it was Birmingham & no-one else, we need revenge for them robbing 4 points off of us this season with 2 draws..

Ah - now I see it's Monday to Thursday, still what use is a Monday or Thursday to any of the teams involved.

You can bet you bottom dollar that Chelsea & Liverpool get the kind Tues & Wed slots......

The quarter-finals games are being staged in midweek to allow for league fixtures to be played the following weekend and for the season to end early, allowing England extra time to prepare for the World Cup.

I bit silly really, it looks like someone is going to have to play on Sat and then again on Monday.
Birmingham and Boro will still be trying to get away from the bottom, Liverpool and Man U will be more interested in securing second and automatic qualification.
Bolton, West Ham and Man C will be trying to squeeze into a Euro position.
Leaving only Villa, Charlton and Chelsea, who could afford to rest players.
Should be two games a night on Tues and Weds.

FA Cup, will only squeeze you in Uefa Cup, the way Spurs and Arsenal are playing the Hammers could possibly squeeze forth place and a Champions League spot (granted a very slim chance )

Liverpool will definitely be given the Wednesday night slot cos we're playing the previous Sunday Afternoon & the following Saturday lunchtime, so you can all fight it out for the crap slots....

Liverpool getting the "kind" Tues/Wed fixture isn't that much of a blessing...we already look tired...

Our fault. Shoulda finished 4th last year. Or is that UEFA's fault for not saying "thanks but no thanks. Take your cup to the other European competition"
