Thanks: Gave 143, Got 66 | Sol Campbell problem - the real story ?
So apparantly the sunday rags have the low-down on the personal problems with Sol Campbell - speculate all you will but I'm sticking to my original thoughts which come from way back when Sol was at Spurs - not saying anything now as I would never want to be one to spread rumours etc ...
EDIT: looks like my brain was mushing stuff together again with the title - should be Sol Campblem problem - the real story, but then again Im guessing you saw that
EDIT: GOD I DID IT AGAIN ! I give up ...

Could it be that after "spilling the beans" on Owen's feelings about Newcastle, Rooney's up-bringing and Ferdinand's laziness, Sven's inability to keep his over-paid gob shut has struck again?

I don't think so this time as I think that he has been caught applying to be the leader of the Liberal Democrats.

I was thinking about this and speculate that he is gay and having trouble coming to terms with it along with coming out. Having read alleged kiss and tell stories on him in the past I think it may be this.
Good luck to him in whatever the issue is as seems a decent chap and evidently nothing like Rio Ferdinand.
Pete.

Pete. | This was one of the topics in work this morning; the rumor is that there will be stuff in a Sunday paper about Sol. Another player was mention but don’t really want to go into that.
Agree with the Captain, good luck to him, also in my opinion he has always played well for England, and if he is off the right frame of mind and playing well wouldn’t mind him going to the world cup, maybe incase Terry gets injured.
Well that’s my two pence worth
Cheers Holo

Campbell gave a decade of his best years to Spurs, and decided to move on as Spurs were going nowhere. Yet, all he gets is some pretty offensive abuse. Likewise Pat Jennings, for me the best goalkeeper I've seen, was sent death threats when he went across to us after 12 years at Spurs! Yet on the rare occasions it goes the other way, the players don't get nearly so much stick (or as in Allens case, none) as they do from Spurs fans.
I can maybe understand when a clubs only real star, as in Rooneys case, early in their career goes chasing the money, but when a players given a club the best part of his career it turns my guts when they get abused by their old 'supporters'.
All it does is the fans look bad.
