sven off to united

sven goran ericcson IS going to manchester united straight after the world cup. he will replace ferguson who is only on a 1 year rolling contract, ericcson will also make david beckham his first signing and the england captain will return to old trafford for £8 million. also michael owen will join him at united, this will hit the papers in next couple of weeks and dont be surprised if the news if im right .

No way. Sven will got to Real Madrid, that's a nailed on certainty. They have recently sacked Luxemburgo and are looking for a new manager for next season; Sven says he will be available in the summer, and Beckham and Sven are best mates - it couldn't have worked out better for them.

To echo earlier comments....no way. Ferguson will stay at Utd until he has regained either the Champions League or the Premiership. He will want to end on a high. As neither will happen this year, then he will be in charge again next season. Anyone got a worldclass midfielder to sell to us please ?....will pay cash plus Fletcher/Silvestre/...oh and Saha as well (we'll also throw in two left boots as well for all of them)

I can't see Sven stopping in this country for any longer than he needs to, I'm sure he'd rather be in a Sunny Madrid than a rainy Manchester !

How come either Real Madrid or Manchester United will want him if he's as useless as everyone here seems to think

You may well be right but he may be about 96 by the time that happens!
