Scolari keen on England job

Given his success with Brasil and partial success with Portugal would he not be good choice for the job?

Frankly I'm not bothered where he comes from as long as he is good enough for job. He could be a Martian for all I care

Agreed. Couldn't care less if he comes from mars as long as he leads England to success. If there's no English manager qualified (there isn't) why ponce around with a stop gap? Big Sam? Love the guy, but England manager? Behave!

Its quite confusing who I want as manager. The PSV/Austrailia, I lsot his name momentarily is a good choice. His done good with all teams, like South Korea. PSV, who jsut lost Park and Lee, and still managed to build the team to bring them back to 1st place in the erdivise.

Why doo ppl have such a problem with a foreign manager for the England post? IF there is a coach/manager who is available/wants the job and is better than the current English contenders, then isn't that a no-brainer?

Best man for the job IMO, irrespective of nationality.

If I were a coach I wouldn't touch that job with a barge pole. Not worth it for all the vilification you get for the under acheivement of overpaid pre-madonna's who beleive their own hype.

Really starting to think it should be Guus Hiddink now, I'm also very very happy McClaren has just signed a new deal at Boro, at least he's out of the picture..

Not sure I like all this talk today about having someone announced & ready in place before the world cup, can't see a single reason why that's beneficial for the current team & manager's preparation..
