Yeah, more of a reflection on the pitch than the batting. I bet the bowlers are happy bunnies tonight!

Perhaps the Indians should be more adventurous and play more English style sweep shots to make it more sporty.
I haven't seen any of this game but the sight of Shoaib Akhtar taking English wickets on featherbeds with inswinging yorkers that didn't even touch the pitch remains fresh in my memory.
Sehwag must be in the form of his life as 247 from 240 balls is some going and Naved-ul-Hasan conceding 88 runs from 15 overs plus Danish Kaneria going for 69 runs from 10 overs are being tonked all over the shop.
If Kaneria, Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi are being scored off at will, things don't look too bright for our spin bowling trio of Ashley Giles, Sean Udal and AN Other and Giles must be hoping that he fails the fitness test so doesn't have to go with Panesar and Blackwell suggesting that the ECB pick the other one instead.

Who holds the record anyway??
There can't have been too many scores over 400?

When they fire, the Indian Batting line-up is the best in the world
They have some outrageous play makers.

Adz | What do India's Batting Line Up and Hailey's Comet have in common?
A rare phenomenon where they only fire up once in every 76 years
