Is Sid Waddell in love with Phil Taylor ?

Is Sid Waddell in love with Phil Taylor ? I've never heard such biased commentating in my life to be honest, well not since the days when Sid used to grovel all over Eric Bristow !
I've been glued to the darts once again this year and have just watched a great match between Taylor and Wayne Mardel. Anyone else watching it ?

I must admit to watching this tonight....although this is a reflection on the dross on the other channels.

I normally only watch the proper world darts championship later in the year

Taylor showed true grit to come back tonight, if you can look part the image of darts (my mrs can't) then there is normally quite good drama in a match

i have never shown an interest or watched a game before,up untill we started to have a league in work ad im completely addicted.from a complete novices view point i would have to say the whole setup is biased towards taylor imho,i mean you cant really have a conversation about the other players without taylors names being thrown into the mix everytime.i understand he is an amazing player and world title holder numerous times but sometimes it just gets on your nerves.

sid has to be one of the strangest commentators of sport i think i have come across,he walks a line of almost wrecking the game to being hilarious, you have your football commentators of old like motson etc and everyone has there view points but i usually dislike or like commentators straight away (that tit who use to do channel 5 football was awfull) but sid is just a strange strange fella imho

can anyone explain whats the difference between the 2 darts unions? btw as i didnt even know there where 2 separate codes until earlier today.

Sid is always worth watching as he does come out with some classics especially when The Power is playing. The other night he was babbling on about his stacker and under-stacker darts (or stacka and unda-stacka!) and then referred to Taylor as Jumping Jack Stack Years ago when Eric Bristow was his hero he came out with "He's crafty, he's cocky, he's got the fans, ahhh Bristow" - which was his version of the Bisto Gravy advert at the time.
The thing that is getting more noticable to me is that when Taylor puts a dart near to the 60 Sid classes it as an excellent marker dart, when others do it he'll call it a sloppy dart
