What's wrong with your team ?

Let off steam about your own team here if you like !
I'll start with Forest, one word sums up Forest over the last 3 seasons - CRAP.
We have nothing at all to look forward to and are lucky that the 1st Division is so poor and we are in 8th position. Our longest winning sequence this season is 2 games !
Over to you

10 game winning streak, going places, CL Holders, and still some "neutrals" aren't happy

Before you all retort, better to be lucky than good

My second team Rochdale though, from top 4 to 9th after xmas games, 8 points from 4th now. Sigh...

not sure about our keeper, one of our defenders is on his arse in a 10 metre sprint against anyone speedy, one striker is showing not much promise, the other gets treated rather suspiciously even though he looks like he actually loves the team,id like more width in our side and we rely to much on one man and finally our manager has unbelievably bad taste in suits im a liverpool fan and i love rafa but jesus wept man OPEN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU GET DRESSED

Too many players lacking in experience, and too many getting old at the same time. As I predicted at the start of the season, we are ok at home cos' 90% of the prem teams are utter crap, but shocking away - due to our error prone defence.

We need Wenger to splash the cash at two defenders, a midfielder with experience and a striker to assist/replace Henry. Sadly, as the next World cup will again prove, there's not that much 'real quality' talent out there, and all that there is, is being bought by just three European teams. You know who they are.

Here's hoping for a few more bargains that turn into diamonds though.............

Bristol City. A bunch of over paid, ungrateful p*ss heads who think that going out in Bristol on a saturday night is more important than playing for the badge. The idiots regularly have scuffles in Bristol centre. Leroy Lita as an example. One season in the City first team, scores a few goals and chips off for more money else where. Tosspot.

But aint that the problem with footy overall, Gerrard aside, but he must be on mega bucks up at Anfield ?!?!?!

Pete.

Yeah, you did really crap on boxing day didn't you.

We've had a bit of a good run with the Carling cup, but we're slipping down the table again, we're only two points behind you though.

My team should be Brighton but as they lost today at home to Milwall who are bottom they dont deserve my support. Maybe when they get a decent ground and build a decent team I mnay condascend to support them. Until that time its rugby all the way. Sale ,Sale, Sale!

Villa have been steadily improving since the draw with Newcastle. We were unlucky not to beat Arsenal as well. But when you have Baros and Angel up front, it is amazing if you ever score!

Doncaster Rovers

Inconsistant inconsistant inconsistant. And injuries (that old chestnut )

The thing with League 1 is if any team puts a winning streak of 5 or more they will be around the top 6, and that's including nearly every team in the league.....

We had a seriously ***** start to the campaign, at the foot of the table, after a winning streak, including beating every team that has occupied top spot at the time, we got to 7th....hammer villa, match an Arsenal team blow for blow and then we get hammered by Forest, which should have been 3 points in the bag but it seems that Arsenal game has had a detromental effect as since then we've been on a slump Altho only 6 points from the play offs with a game in hand isn't the doom and gloom some of our fans think it is...

On paper we have arguabley the best 'spine' of players in the League but it all comes back to inconsistancy.

But then put some wins back to back again and we'll be there again as everyone is beating everyone else tis a funny league this un.

My wishes? A 'no-****' style midfielder to stamp some authority on the game and compliment Sean Thornton and a big guy up front who can knock em in to take the pressure off Heffs and we will take some stopping.....

21 days left.....

Unfortunately my team is the blue side of Liverpool

Unlike last year when we did amazingly well, this year we have reverted to form and are total crap at the moment. A two game winning streak helped us over Chrimbo, but a poor 0-0 draw with Millwall in the Cup brought us back to earth.

From what I have seen, Everton are in dire need of some decent players. Getting rid of that useless Beattie would be a good start.

If the Palace chairman hadn't got all in a strop about paying agent's fees you probably wouldn't have Tim Cahill now and Palace would probably still be in the Premiership

Now now lol dont go too far
I will always support them , but the day we signed Crouch was a very sad day ..We are in a better position now than under Houlier , but I think they should have broke the bank to resign Owen , but then again they should never have sold him in the 1st place

Lack of decent strikers and could do with tweaking in midfield, oh, and would everyone stop getting injured...and please, nobody make an offer for Boaz Myhill!

...mind you I can't really complain given that 2 seasons ago we were in the bottom division. It is a good time (finally) to be a Hull City fan!

Just need to sign a decent, young, highly-rated, non-money grabbing, centre-back who won't take any time adjusting to life in the Premiership????

Oh we just have - welcome Daniel Agger!!

Just being a little happy after some good news.....

We now need a right sided midfielder, another striker & a decent international left back - that's all. Rather than sell Kewell - I'd rather see him back to his Leeds best....

As well as the obvious 3, I would definitely keep Reina, Finnan, Riise, Hyypia, Garcia, Sissoko, Hamann, Crouch, Pongo - all good players for certain situations.

Out - Traore (had too may chances), Josemi (he's gone), Cisse (never gonna fit in with Rafa's style at LFC - can't see what he has that Pongo hasn't got - apart from a few extra mph...)

Toon Army Fan.....Had nothing to cheer about since the fool Shepard sacked Sir Bobby.
I don't know what's the bigger joke, Souness or the players he signed (Except Scott Parker).
Readin about all the players in talks with, etc, they won't be any good and that will be more money wasted.
I don't know why he didn't get sacked before Xmas, time to get a new manager in and then we could have signed some proper talent in January.

What makes me laugh is we try and played defensive and hit on the counter, I think he needs to look at his defence for these tactics to work!
Injuries are no excuse.
Shepard, if you can hear me, sack him and all the backroom staff!!!!!!

I was just about to have a wee rant about the state of the Celtic defence when I read your post and realised that all is not bad......I could, after all, be you.

I cant believe that NUFC allowed Souness to bale out his old pal Mr Murray by paying £8m for Boumsong.

Back to my own shower though........We finally get a goalkeeper we can trust and our defence turns into a nightmare.

Left Back - Burnley reject or 20 year old midget.

CB - Bobo Bombscare or Du Wei Diddy

Right Back - Paul Ferking Telfer

Well, my team Spurs are still up there playing way above themselves but if its to last I think we need a little fresh (but experienced) blood. Coping without Mido for a few games will be tough - Rasiak doesn't cut the mustard - but no need to panic-buy another forward.

A new left back (preferably with a left foot) would be nice and Wayne Bridge fits the bill for me.

A left winger such as Pedersen of Blackburn would be handy, too.

The cash is there after yesterdays sale of Mendes, Davis and Pamarot.

Incidentally, I think Portsmouth have bought VERY well there. Mendes at 26 is in his prime - a CL winner that I would love to have stayed on but understand why he's moved. Davis, if he can stay fit, can be a very effective terrier in midfield. I was disappointed that he bleated about Jol upon leaving. Why was he left out... Well, the team is fourth without you mate and you don't break up a winning side. Am pleased that Jol has turned the other cheek, and actually still praised the player. Pamarot is handy, but I think he's found his true level at Pompey.

I'd love him to be a spurs player. When he pulls the trigger (with either foot) keepers accross the land should fill their pants.

We do need another forward instead of Rasiak, but I think this will happen in the summer, as there will be more options.
