Oh well, Wales won't get the Grand Slam now :(

As a Welshman, I'm so proud that the Wales national rugby team has won two Grand Slams in the last six years, but I have to ask...

Whilst everyone harps on about the 2008 Grand Slam, not as many of them hold the 2005 tournament win as highly. Why is that?

Also, I was wondering why there was no mention made of the Triple Crown in 2005, which involves beating all the other home nations. Didn't Wales win it? Or was it not presented for some reason?

Any other Welshmen here who can explain?

MODS: Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place once again, feel free to move it.

It probably isn't mentioned because doing the Grand Slam means by default you did the Triple Crown. Maybe if we had only done the TC and lost to say France, we would have been presented with something.

As for this year, we are very average. Most of the teams are on a par, like they were last year, just as bad as each other. If we dont improve by the world cup, we're in for a hiding.
