1 team left in weekend football bets...

I've got two bets still running with Stoke as the last game...

Man City -1 WON
Man Utd WON
Stoke To Run
£5.75 Treble to win £95

Everton WON
Man Utd WON
Stoke To Run
£16 Trixie to win £204

I aint sure if Stoke want to see me win so I'm thinking about putting some money down on Sunderland and the draw to guarantee a payout, even if it's a bit smaller.

So I figure if I put £50 on sunderland to win and £50 on the draw, my total money put down will be 50+50+5.75+16 = 121.75... So if...

Stoke win - returns £299 (-£121.75 stake) = £177.25 profit.

Sunderland win - returns £105 (+£28.80 from Trixie) (-£121.75 stake) = £12.05 profit.

Draw - returns £170 (+£28.80 from Trixie) (-£121.75 stake) = £76.25

So if Stoke win profit will be £177.25
if Sunderland win profit will be £12.05
If its a draw profit will be £76.25

Or if I just stick with Stoke profit will be £299 if they can win.

What would you do?

I'd just let it ride personally.

I would cover the bet.I was in a similar situation a few years ago,Iwas waiting on 1 horse to complete a 'yankee',I honestly thought only the favourite could beat it so I did a saver on it.Luckily mine won.

I'd cover the bet as well, especially with stoke only winning away from home once this season.

Another option, You could "Lay" stoke on Betfair for say £35 so liability would be £105 if they won leaving you with nearly £200 profit. £35 profit if Sunderland won or drew.

Another option if Stoke went ahead tonight as well as it's on the telly this game is the inplay market. I've made a good return on the inplay market this weekend myself. I "Layed" the draw before kick off in the Arsenal v Man Utd at I think 3.35, then backed the draw at half time at 6.5 to guarantee a profit. Backed Chelsea to win at around 60 minutes into the Burnley match and got 1.86. My laying and backing this week on betfair has covered my losses on Acca's

Hopefully £50 went on the draw. It's got me thinking this thread, you do leave yourself some good options with acca's if the games are played at different times or on a different day as in this instance.
