Re: FA Cup 1st Round

<Cancelled due to lack of interest>

Shouldn't be too flippant, but the lack of response highlights the general lack of support for lower league football. The magic of the cup started long ago, and certainly before Round 3 when the 'big boys' get involved.

Good luck to Woking, except if you draw Swindon........

Re: FA Cup 1st Round

Indeed, a wry smile did cross my face when I saw the draw I must confess.

I actually didn't realise you were now Conference South - I always thought of Woking as a solid BSP club. You seem to be having a solid season so far, so do you lot fancy your chances?

I'm toying with the idea of going - I don't get the opportunity to get to many games now, and I don't fancy seeing Leeds again the following week. Should be cheaper than normal tickets I'd have thought as, no disrespect, Woking aren't the biggest draw for us.

We've had a poor few seasons both on and off the pitch, but changes were made in the summer and hopefully things are on the up now, we've got a winning mentality back - and as we've shown in the past, we can beat anybody

I'd imagine we'd agree to prices around £15 if Swindon wanted to drop them to that, can see us taking around 500 fans

Re: FA Cup 1st Round

Most of our fans seem somewhat ambivalent about the whole thing, but can't complain at 12 notes. IMO you have a good chance of getting a result, particularly if we do our usual trick of underestimating supposedly weaker opponents.
