Football Songs / Chants

Sure I was sat watching the Inter game mid week and out of the blue Inter fans started singing "Jose Mourinho" to the tune of "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" and it made me chuckle. The Frankie Valley & the four seasons version is one of my favourite songs of all time :

Anyone else have some good ones from the present or the past they'd like to share? naturally the sort that doesn't insult other clubs / players to keep some harmony to the thread.

Re: Football Songs / Chants

Wiping the tears away "thfccambs" from the first one and I haven't even played the Torres one yet. Thanks for that

A few years back I used to get the odd ticket to Arsenal games and this was a particular favourite sung to "Petit" :

He's French
He's Quick
His names a porno flick

That's half the trouble 9 times out of 10 the best ones insult one team or another. I reckon this would be a good thread if people made up their own like your Pav video that was hilarious and in the same good nature as the Torres tune.

Re: Football Songs / Chants

I was hoping this thread might make it to page 2 Abbeygoo

Let's not mention Rooney carrying the belt at his fight in Vegas, or Beckham sitting in the front row at another one

Re: Football Songs / Chants

Didn't Hatton give his box up at City last season?

Re: Football Songs / Chants

It's no "World In Motion" that 1st one "thfccambs" (Boys in Blue). I love to see West Ham, Man City and Liverpool when they are on the telly as I like to hear the fans sing their respective anthems.

A few years back I went to AC Milan play and that has to be seen to be believed. The die hards seem to congregate in the top tier behind one goal, they have a guy who doesn't watch any of the match his sole job is to orchestrate the crowd much like a proper conductor would a real Orchestra, his movements control the volume in this section of the crowd. As he's clinging on to the top railing for dear life doing his job another guys holding onto his legs so he don't end up going over the railing

You also get a rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" in Italian at their games as well.

Re: Football Songs / Chants

Here's another one from Liverpool a couple of seasons back :

Don't blame it on Gerrard
Don't blame it on Finnan
Don't blame it on Hamaan
Blame it on Traore

He just can't, he just can't, he just can't control his feet!
He just can't, he just can't, he just can't control his feet!
