What is the NFL then? The national falconry league?

I do quite like birds of prey, but wouldn't know how to go about owning one.

Do you use dogs to flush pheasants or what do you hunt with them?

Don't people start with kestrels? Are they easier to handle, or did you start with falcons?

Yeah, I've started to get into it, I think my chosen team now is the Tampa Bay Buccanneers. Need to get the Sky Sports HD 1 and 2 though so I can get the games. Just been reading the coverage online so far

every season ive thought about going but think il give it a miss again this season, if the game was wtih better teams i might go because it would no doubt be an awesome game, but i really have no interest in either the bucs or the patriots, plus the bucs have no chance... sorry

no i upgraded to a Falcon recently after i levelled up from a vulture..

and no dogs are permitted in the NFL just ask Michael Vick

Hi all,
I'm a massive Giants fan, have been for years since the 80's Channel 4 days.
Also used to love the redskins and have always had a soft spot for the Raiders due to the John Madden link and their playing ethos....

Since the first time I saw the game on TV I knew I had to go and watch a game live one day so now every November me and the Mrs go and watch the Giants play at Meadowlands (YES the Mrs loves the Giants too!

)
It has to be one of the best live sporting experiences ever, you get goosebumps in that stadium with 75,000 fans!

When the Giants won the superbowl 2 years ago we saw them get defeated heavily by the ravens, to say Manning played poorly was an understatement!!
But you would never know they would go all the way after that performance.

I love Sunday nights in front of the TV watching NFL, me and the wife wear our Giants tops and sit there like geeks

None of my mates are into it so I love it when other people are

We are also a much weaker side without Burress & Strayhan now he's retired, sorry to ramble on......... Roll on November!!!!

Cowboys fan, have been since the wife and I done a 3 week coach tour of the southeren States in "91. We visited the Cowboys stadium, got to throw a few balls on the pitch and visited the club shop etc. I adopted them also because their kit is navy blue and white just like Spurs

The only down side is that its the equivalent of being an overseas Man Utd fan!!
Still, have seen them win 3 Super Bowls

Yeap, going this year again, have been to Wembley for the past two years for the NFL game.

I am a Giants fan but as I am going to this with Pats fans I will be supporting the Bucs

Should be a great day as the Patriots have massive support here so could be a great atmosphere.

Cant believe i missed this thread

Been watching NFL in the uk since back in the heady days of channel 4 and am a proud 49er

Its been a difficult 3 years but i hope coach singletary has turned the corner and we resume our rightful place atop the NFC west.

Anyone else watch their local BAFL team? Myself and a couple of lads from work ( pats and dolphins fand respectively ) go to watch the manchester titans.

I also watch the games in my shirt but as of yet i'm yet to be able to get to a live game at candlestick. I'm hoping i can before we move..

Been watching on and off for 20 odd years.

Decided to watch again this year on Five.

Added 15-20 mins to the recording last week but it cut out with 50 secs to go after Green Bay took the lead.

Still don't know the result

maybe they'll show a few secs from it on tonights show (which i'll over record by 30 mins this time).

Been a fan since the 80s back when they had the coverage on Channel 4. Kinda lost interest in 00s as hardly anyone i knew followed the NFL but some of my mates have developed an interest since Sky started promoting it so looking forward to lots of Sunday night football parties!

Loving the Five coverage tonight with the legendary Mike Carlson. Hope we can give those Cowgals a good whupping

A fan of the Buc's here. Although listening to the game on 5 live sport extra last night, I think were in for a long and tough season. 3 interceptions in the first quarter.

Also, I'm interested in getting a Buccaneers replica top, but cant seem to find anywhere in the UK and online that sells them.

Have you seen the new cowboys stadium, seats 80,000 but is expandable to 111,000 through standing areas.

I have been a watching on and off since the c4 days and a 49ers fan. did get to see a game when the 49ers were playing at Tampa bay when on holiday to Orlando for a fortnight.

As much as i dislike the Cowboys I have to admit their new stadium is mighty impressive!

I was really into NFL back in the day .... have seen it on Sky Sports ... do they have one programme that rounds up all the week's action? Would rather that than watch a whole game live as it takes about a week

There's the 90 minute long NFL Gameday that's on Sky Sports on Mondays which rounds up the Sunday night fixtures. You can also watch each games highlights for free on NFL.com here:
