Eduardo ban overturned by UEFA

Seems sensible, as this was a can of worms that didn't really need opening.

BBC SPORT | Football | Europe | Uefa overturns Eduardo diving ban

Re: Eduardo ban overturned by UEFA

It looked like a dive to me. Whats stopping others from doing it pretty much knowing they will get away with it.

Hmmmm

Re: Eduardo ban overturned by UEFA

There would be endless debate and continuos appeals etc on this issue. I agree diving needs stamping out but probably via a more workable solution than having every incident revisited and judged after the match. Could get very messy! They need a well thought out directive, this decision felt a little emotive and hasty to me, and a precedent would have been set if the ban was upheld.

Feel free to close mods, as it was posted on the video evidence thread a few seconds before I started this. Can't work out how to do this myself

Re: Eduardo ban overturned by UEFA

Wenger clearly had a word or two with Platini at their UEFA meeting earlier this month and made him realise certain matters are better approached
