Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
when Milner slipped i nearly switched it off, i honestly thought "here we go again".
I thought Campbell was a little unlucky to get sent off actually, im sure he would have not got booked in the Prem for that.
Hart very unlucky too, i think a stern talking to would have sorted him out.
well done England anyway!

Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
Did a liverpool v ac milan tonight, turned of at half time when it was 3-0 come back later and thought I was seeing things when we were somehow going to penalties. Glad we won, looking forward to the match on Monday night

Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
Sounds like England may have their work cut out tonight with Walcott being the only striker still available following bans and injuries.

Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
With hindsight, I think it might have been better had they lost on penalties.
Then we could have dreamed of what might have been.
Now unfortunately, we know the answer....

Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
England deserve what they get. I know some players got themselves suspended, but punting up long balls to Theo just will not cut it. Stuart Pearce: you have been touted as one for the big job. Guess what? Theo can take the ball to his feet. He plays for Arsenal football club. If you do not know how to pass, Arsene does not play you. Simple
That's the future? If people wanted to see that they would become Liverpool fans. Like Theo had a chance against 4 big tall German defenders

Re: England and Stuart Pearce Slay their Penalty Shootout Dragon
better "team" won. Agree with above, clueless display, no plan B, sorry dont rate psycho as a manager. Passion alone is not going to cut it at this level.
