Sky coverage of Brazil vs Paraguay: Crowd noise on a loop?
Now I'm not blaming Sky, but there's something really, really weird about the crowd noise at this match... it reminds me of 'Kick Off' on the Commodore Amiga... there's an underlying short 2 or 3 second looping undercurrent of crowd / white noise.
I guess it *could* be a small section of the crowd singing the same short refrain constantly for 25 minutes, but I find that unlikely... it's been unremitting and unchanged for too long... Maybe those Brazilian home crowds aren't as hyper-active as we're led to believe, and they're playing it to bolster the atmosphere! (Actually one of my family said they pipe crowd noise through the speakers at Twickenham, so I guess it's not unheard of, sadly) edit: ... and it's still going on after Brazil conceded a goal ;/ Last edited by RostokMcSpoons; 11-06-2009 at 1:19 AM. |
