Re: Kaka off to Madrid...

lol all very strange, was just reading another forum and a guy on there posted the below. I assume he is talking about Madrid

Please tell me someone was just watching what I was watching about Guillem Ballague saying Fiorentino Perez :

is convinced he will get Kaka for about £65 million euros

is 100% convinced that he will get Ronaldo but that will probably go down right to the wire end of August

Negotiations with Valencia for Villa and Silva are going well and should be confirmed within the next few weeks

And is very confident about getting Xabi Alonso!

Re: Kaka off to Madrid...

Kaka to Madrid is possibly the most expected move of the summer. I don't think many would be sursprised.

Re: Kaka off to Madrid...

He apparently agreed a move last week & is due to be unveiled this Thursday. I posted it last week here: Berb - time for Ferie to admit he made a mistake?

Good move for Milan, they can rebuild with that money & let's face it, he hasn't done anything for 2 years.

Kaka at Madrid, with possibly Ronaldo, Villa, Silva, Alonso to come soon.

Will it be a team of great players, or great ego's?

Re: Kaka off to Madrid...

Will have to see first. They cannot sign Ronaldo and Alonso without selling somebody... Van the man notwithstanding on account of the injury and his age, you just have to look at their squad for the last third

Re: Kaka off to Madrid...

Until Real Madrid start sorting out their defence, it doesn't matter who they will sign.
Their totally inept display at Anfield says it all.
I'll say it now - they will not win the Chapions League next season.

Thats hardly a risky statement to make, is it?

MAdrid have been awful in Europe for at least 5 years, and are now starting to try to form a new side. It will not happen in one season.

Add to this the fact that Barca, Utd and Chelsea all have really top quality European sides and its safe to say that Madrid won't win the CL next year.

well, criticise the galacticos all you like, but Real Madrid were absolute crap after Perez stepped down, and they tried building a sensible team. Perhaps buying success is the only way forward for them. Kaka should link their play nicely but i think Real Madrid have an abundance of attacking midfielders already and seriously need a commanding defender, or someone to sit back and protect their defence. I expect they have a few more signings to come, but Perez's history doesn't suggest a Defensive midfielder or centre back will be one of them
