Yep, a hand injury has forced Haye to pull out of the fight.

Exactly what I'm thinking.
I was really looking forward to this fight, thought haye had a good chance in this.
I imagine it'll be rescheduled for a later date as it's the biggest heavyweight fight around.

Just because they're not British means there's nothing to look forward to in boxing?

Surely an exciting fight in boxing is exciting no matter where you're from, I don't really care where someone is from when they fight as long as it's a good fight, obviously if there's a Brit fighting i'd like them to win but I'd never say that there's nothing to look forward to just because 1 fight, which in all honesty didn't have the makings of a "great" fight, was cancelled.

Cannot wait for mayweather/marquez really really tough one to call. I mean there both class and normally most people tip mayweather to win all his fights and obviously he has so far but this time im not so sure!

I think it depends what weight they fight at really.

Wether it's 140 or 147, it will make a huge difference to both fighters

Doesn't say much for the heavyweight division when this is seen as the most exciting one in the past few years does it

I sure hope we get a few more exciting young heavyweights to bring a bit of life to the division!

They're hoping to reschedule this bout for July anyways as it's only going to be about a 3 week delay, so keep an eye on that, maybe we will get the fight this summer

Re: David 'Hayemaker' Haye vs Wladimir 'Steelhammer' Klitschko

Blessing in disguise for Haye imo.

Should have had at least 2 more fights against men of Klitschkos size before considering the fight.

He's only young. I can't understand what the rush is all about.

He has a genuine chance of beating young Klit IMO but if he takes a few fights before the title shot there is also a chance he could get KTFO and derail his whole title campaign, hence him doing everything he can do get a title shot as soon as he can. Simples

If Haye had an iron chin , something along the line of Eubank's durability, I think he could have been the best heavyweight of this generation - he has speed, power, balls of steel and 1 of the best attitudes a fighter can have but I worry that his chin might let him down at heavy Hop eIm wrong though cos the guy is entertaining in the ring and I find him a funny ****er in interviews to.
