Help needed to choose speaker setup

I have a pair of Sonus Faber Electras which I have used very happily with a Cyrus2 + PSX since about 1989.

I'm about to move up in the world to a 7.1 amp of some description for my growing HCPC setup and need to address the issue of sound. Alas, I am significantly less wealthy today than I was in those halcyon days.............

I wonder whether I should sell the Sonus Fabers and start afresh or try to match them as the front pair. Since I am totally out of my depth with sound and way behind the times in many other respects, I need help from experts.

One minor complication is that I have an uncarpeted open plan living space and really need to suspend the rear surrounds from the ceiling to avoid tripping over cables (unless the cables are ducted up to the ceiling). The left and right surrounds can be wall or floor mounted.

Can anyone provide suggestions, please?
