wireless speakers

Hi all,
This is my first post so forgive me if i am not in the right section,
I have a pioneer 427xd and a good hifi (separates) but am looking at surround sound as i have hard wood floor i would like it to be wireless, the only systems i can find are up to £200 and would imagine not very good.
Does anyone know of some good systems out there or is it not the way forward and to stick with a wired system?

Re: wireless speakers

As you're probably awar, 'wireless' systems still require power cords for each speaker, sometimes this is fine if you have powerpoints near-by, othertimes it is not.

TBH they cost quite a lot, and IMHO are not very good. Probably the best option is somethig by Canton.

Otherwise KEF have just announced a new system costing £300 (for a pair) which will make any normal speakers wireless. You may want to wait and look at that - comes out in March/April I think.
