Kef 1005 Connections?
I'm looking at potentially getting the Kef 1005's, but in the pictures I've seen (not managed to get into a shop to properly check em out yet!) they appear to have a sort of BNC connector on the speakers themselves??
What sort of connector is this? Hopefully a daft question

I have the Kef 1005s sat right next to me here but don't fully understand your question - imagine you're talking to a 5 year old .... and I should be able to answer any question you have ....
cracking system by the way

the speaker cable posts on the speakers are sort of spring clips. They work with normal speaker cable. No probs there.

Heh, thanks MJG, thats what I was after - how the wire connects to the speaker(s) itself!
I see you're in Manchester though Abbeygoo - where did you get yours? The only place I've come across is Richersounds (Stockport, not tried Prestwich) who didn't have them out Not that RS have a particularly good price on them anyway..

You can price match them though, and get about £10 back.
