Subsonic Sounds - SVS 5.1 Speaker Offer

Since 2005 Kent Home Cinema have enjoyed an excellent business relationship with SVS in the USA, now SV Sounds. Since then we have been importing and distributing direct to the customer, initially their highly acclaimed subwoofers - PB10ISD, PB12 Plus & Plus 2, followed by the SB & MT speakers, the unique PC cylinder sub woofer range, the mighty PB13 Ultra Ultras and most recently the extraordinary “room fixing” AS-EQ1 subwoofer equalizer.

Well all good things eventually come to an end as they say! Kent Home Cinema has decided that in order to fully concentrate on our ever increasing custom installation side of the business it is time to hand over SVS sales and servicing to an equally competent company - L-Sound in Norway. L-Sound have been distributing SVS in Europe and Scandinavia as long as we have been covering the UK. L-Sound handle all VAT and taxes throughout their export system – so no problems with customs. Responsibility for warranty cover and spares for existing customers will also transfer to L-Sound.

Obviously, we would like to thank all of our loyal SVS customers, especially the AV Forum members who have supported the products over the years and contributed to many interesting threads on the subject of achieving deep bass and as they say getting “bang for your buck!”

For all SVS enquiries please contact L-Sound - here

The setup is on permanent demo in one of their three demo rooms.
Read that thread ian sounds good, going to have a demo sometime soon as they are redoing their demo rooms at the moment. Hopefully will be done soon!

Good morning Allistair.
I am very interseted in the speakers only. I think the amp may be too much for my attic bedroom conversion?
Would you happen to know if there would be a deal with a amp? perhaps a dennon or yamaha, to go with these speakers?

Thanks, Graham

edit. perhaps the ONKYO-TX-SR503E or Denon-AVR-1706?
edit edit! perhaps a price with the sub as well, with one of the amps?

Hi guys, I have a KEF PSW3000 sub, would this be an ideal match for these speakers ?

Also is there an option for 1 extra speaker for 6.1 etc.

Cheers

Thanks for the enquiry. We can still provide the PB10 at the special price of £350.00 (inc mainland UK delivery) although we have limited stocks of these now. If you call our sales team next week we will be able to arrange everything should you wish to place an order.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but i have never seen these speakers in the flesh.

Can the rear speakers be mounted on the wall in anyway, or do they have to be on a shelf/stand?

Hi Alistair,
Very interested in these speakers. Could you give me a price for the 5.0 system and 2x pairs of stands please (centre stand not needed) & also a price including the PB10. (would I be able to get the 5.0 system at £399.50 + the PB10 as you advertised at £350 + the cost of the stands?)
What amp would you recomend to run them with? 3805/6?

Regards,

Nate

My 3803 does a cracking job so the 05/06 should be great too.
Nice speakers

They do need a bit of driving, if you want to go LOUD, but your choice of amp is fine.
Loads of punch
I'm comparing to a Yam 557, which was fine at moderate-loud, but didn't have the guts when I was drunk

Get the 5.1 kit, it's a bargain, IMO.

Strangely, IMO, these are still a bit of a secret
