Speakers needed (just the 2) Gigaworks T20?

Hi
I'm in the market for some new speakers
Ideally i'd want ones without a sub, but with a good bass (i know!)

I'm looking to pay £50 tops, ideally £30
What are my options and what are good

The reason i dont want a sub is because i want to cart them back and forth to work, and maybe on hols too.

it would be used with my Mp3 player (N95)

What are my options?

Well these might be a bit out of budget if you can't buy them used but Klipsch Promedia 2.0 are excellent little speakers, not exactly the most portable but still easily put into a bag or suitcase along with everything else. I've never had any trouble with them and they sound fantastic for such small speakers. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-ULTR.../dp/B0006TIEZS

The good thing is that they have two inputs so you can plug the N95 in at the front and the computer at the back and still get both sets of sound if need be.

Re: Speakers needed (just the 2) Gigaworks T20?

I've only personally used the Klipsch 2.0 but when I was hunting for reviews for good 2.0 speaker systems http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-MMS3.../dp/B000BEY4DO came in near the top, again a little out of budget but a used pair would probably fall quite nicely into your range.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-51M...d_sbs_ce_img_3 look like they have quite good reviews too and they are within budget.

If you do end up getting the silver Klipsch 2.0, my two recommendations would be to put them near to the wall if you can to enhance the basss further and put a silver sticker over the lazer-beam-like blue LED they decided to put in them.
