Laptop to onkyo 605, external soundcard question
Hi all, now bear in mind I know nothing about computers, plug and play is my middle name.
__________________At the moment I'm getting my kit together and will soon be setting up. (Kef 3005 Speakers, Onkyo 605 AV Reciever, PS3, Samsung LE32R87 LCD) Most of my music is on my laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D7830) as WMA files. The soundcard died after a year and apparently it could'nt be fixed without a whole new board so I bought an external USB soundcard from Maplins for about £4. My question is, is this soundcard sufficient as it's going into the Onkyo before coming out of the speakers or do I need to upgrade to a better soundcard to get a decent sound ?, if so could someone recommend to me what to get, thanks Monty  RESPONSIBILITY IS A HEAVY RESPONSIBILITY !
