Mid/High-end soundcard and speakers + other stuff

Hello, in the next few months I'm going to be getting a decent amount of money (£1000-£2000, hopefully more)

Once a get this money I'm planning on buying mid/high-end audio equipment. Firstly what I want help with is a soundcard and speakers and other stuff.

Soundcard: Just 2 channels, high quality, midi ports and microphone jack thingy would be a big bonus.
Speakers for computer: I'm really not sure, as long as again their high quality. (I was thinking about making my own for fun but I don't have the time, nor the skill)
Amp: I'm guessing I'll need one to drive the speakers. Again not sure.
Headphones: Probably go with open/semi-open cans.
Vinyl player: 100% don't have a clue about vinyl players but I want to start collecting vinyl because I like the sounds of most records I've heard.
AV receiver: Not sure on this one, would be good to link up the speakers to the soundcard, vinyl player, headphones and maybe TV and DVD player.

If I've missed out anything I really need then please make any suggestions.
Also need help with cables but than can come later.
