Gaming Headset

In need of a good gaming headset for use on likes of BF2 & Command & Conquer 3, nothing that breaks the bank but something comfortable and reliable.

Speed-Link MEDUSA 5.1 Headphones
Very comfortable and excellent sound quality. Has mic attachment which works great with BF2.

They do the job but they dont do it right. You get to hear all sounds in a game not just these that a headset lets thru. Using Sennheiser PC150 headset, nice, but ear pads are but small. I tried Medusa 5.1 headphones ones and sound was very unnatural. I heard Fatality headset is very good but never had a chance to try it on.

Re: Gaming Headset

Sorry to butt in on the thread but I need a headset too. I won't be using it much and when I do use it I don't want to be scrabbling around at the back of my PC. So I was thinking of getting a USB headset like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Pre...4542205&sr=8-1

Has anyone used these at all? Presumably if I plug it in it'll take over the sound output from my soundcard, is that correct?
