Trust 514DX 5.1 issues - please help!
Hi guys,
I've recently put a Trust 514DX card in my PC to use the 5.1 over optical, but it says it only outputs SPDIF over 2 speakers?
I've had a play with AC3 Filter and VLC player (which is the video player I use mainly), but to be honest I don't really know what I'm doing.
I tested it on on a DVD (Letters From Iwo Jima - 5.1 Dolby Digital) and a DTS 5.1 mix of Black Sabbath I've got, and they would only play in 2.1 through my Sony DTS amp.
Would anybody be able to help me set this up at all, I've seen that a few people have this card with 5.1 with no issues, I just haven't a clue about setting things up!

install my driver and set everything to "spdif passthrough"

i am using the official drivers in MCE XP version and it seems to work on ok in KMplayer and win dvd but not power dvd ( for some reason spdif does not stick) is your driver better than the latest official?

Trust me, use dogbert's drivers, they will fix all your 5.1 sound issues.

which ones are dogberts drivers, i have the same problem with my pioneer htp gs1 can get analogue but not 5.1

hi dogbert i installed ur programme thanks for that!!! now which programme would you recommend me to use? i installed klite codec pack, but to be honest i dont know what i am doing at all!
