whats the difference between x-fi xtremeaudio and x-fi xtrememusic cards?

I upgraded from a creative live! to a creative x-fi xtreme audio card and can notice the difference in quality. clarity is better on mp3's and sound.
however would it have been better to pay a little more and have gotten a x-fi xtreme audio card instead?

x-fi extreme music is more like the fatality version with support for EAX 5.0 audio is mainly for music with some games support

Re: whats the difference between x-fi xtremeaudio and x-fi xtrememusic cards?

xtreme muxis has built in DD/DTS decoders and has hardware EAX acceleration, so ideal for games, xtreme audio is just for music and movies, does not had DTS/DD decoders and no hardware EAX acceleration..., basically if your looking to step up from motherboard audio but don't play games then get the xtreme audio, if you play games get the xtreme music
