Debrand / Flashing W995

All

I now have a Sony Ericsson W995 which has come with 3 software installed.

I would like to flash the phone so that I can install the generic Sony software and remove this horrible bag of ****.

Has anyone done this before and can link me up to the guide they used?

I have had a look at a few and unfortunately it is not my strong point.

Many thanks.

Re: Debrand / Flashing W995

I thought if you did it through SE's website it resets the firmware to the generic one? I got mine in TCW and it came with the standard non-branded software.

When I upgraded the software of my K800i through SE it removed all the O2 stull and made it generic...

i have done mine and used davinciteam.
no issues an seus (sony ericsson update site) updates and does not aply back the branding.

be aware though that doing this will invalid your warranty from what i believe as you have changed the product from that supplied
