Hi Guys

I have had a SE K850i for a few years now, and all of a sudden it had developed a terrible fault!

If I press the d-pad, the phone screen turns off and the keypad lights up, and the phone is inaccesible for about 5 minutes! I have tried upgarding the FW but SEUS says I have the latest already!

Has anyone else had this problem, or know of a solution?

You can flash your phone using any third party software.

I have tried using A2 uploader to a previous firmware, but I think it is a hardware problem!

its most likely your keypad as they had problems with the touch screen they can be bought on ebay for under a tenner and take 10 minutes to swap.

I had two K850i's that did this sort of thing. I found that if you put pressure on the screen it would return, but ultimately there was no cure for this and the other problems I had with them. Awful, awful phone.
