Hi all
I would like to transfer my itunes library to my new Sony W995 - is that possible? I have around 400 tracks ripped from my own CDs and about another 350 or so bought exclusively from itunes.

I am NOT advocating distribution of itunes tracks, just the transfer of my own, 100% legally purchased tracks, onto my own phone device, for my own mobile use.

If this can't be discussed here then I apologise but I'd appreciate any assistance via PM.

I am using XP Pro, itunes 8.0.0.35.

You will be able to use iTunes tracks that don't have DRM protection and certainly your own ripped CD's, but the W995 wont play DRM protected tracks.

You should easily be able to transfer your music by dragging and dropping to the memory card, or by using the Sony Ericsson PCSuite software.

Rob, maybe you can help, i've tried dropping some podcasts onto my phone memory and they play ok but they aren't stored under "podcasts". they keep appearing under "music" and they appear as one album (they are all collings and herrin so it's assuming they are all tracks on an album)

i can't find any location on the memory card that will put these under "podcast" on the phone, i've tried the bundled software as well as drag and drop. Can you help?
