The screen is dissapointing. The rumours all pointed to a 3.5" OLED display, but instead we get 3.2" of TFT.

The main difference from the X1 seem good, better camera always help. TV is a handy tool to have. Plus a accelerometer?

What does stereo speakers mean - more than one? It better! The X1 has to be one of the worst modern phones for speakers. They will need a more robust handset too to tempt me onto a X2....

Vodafone has announced it has bagged exclusives on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, the LG GM750 and the Nokia E72, the first two of which until the end of the year.

Not a major issue as it appears to be until the end of the year. If i was to upgrade from the X1 (with O2), i've got to wait unitl April 2010 anwway.

Maybe O2 didn't fight hard enough?

Or maybe the experience they have had with the X1 has made them not want to fight hard to get them, but instead concentrate their efforts on the likes of the Palm Pre and iPhone?

They have their XDA range for Windows Mobile so the only real loss is the E72.

I don't think it will be a big loss for O2. I would imagine the X1 has been a nightmare for O2 due to the bugs and signal issues so can't see them crying into their coffees. I have had 3 x1 handsets and all were a nightmare in the end. I have decamped to the blackberry 8900 now and hope it works out better than the x1.

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase this phone. Vodafone are playing around with the release date. Not sure if the phone is any good due to hits hardware and the OS but it'll be nice to see it in action

It's now being widely reported vodaphone have dropped the X2.

Given the imminent release of the X10 it would seem the X2 will be obsolete before it reaches the shops

X10 might not be quite as imminent as you think.... April seems likely at the moment.
