W760i sim error

Hi I signed up for an O2 24 month contract in November and the 'free' handset I got with the contract is playing up big time. It is constantly switching to 'demo mode' because I have an inactive SIM apparently, yet it can be made to work for periods of time by turning off & on.

I take it O2 won't offer me any kind of replacement in this situation? I'm pretty sure the SIM is fine.

It's still under warranty so get it back to them for repair. They wont replace it straight away though, they will repair it a number of times before ever considering a replacement.

Thanks I will try O2 on the weekend, for some reason I was under the impression that they had no legal requirement to support the phone as it is a gift with the contract - great news if it is still covered.
