As the title says, i called Orange today as my C905 has developed the infamous speaker issue for the 6th time. Ive been told i can have a replacemnt C905 or a brand new W995 (since ive had so many faults).

I know nothing about the W995 apart from reading reviews. I do like a good camera phone and have been put off by the LED light (W995) instead of neon flash (C905) .



Any advice would be most welcome

I've only read good stuff about the W995 nothing bad so far. Essentially it's a C905 with the issues fixed and it's a fair bit thinner, only few differences are the flash like you said and some of the camera features.

I decided to opt for the W995 the very same day is i put up this post.

I have to say its a fantastic phone, more features than the C905 and the BBC I player is really cool.

The camera is probably as good as the C905 outside in daylight but indoors and in darker light its not as good.

Glad you like it, I was tempted by it but don't like sliding phones. Also though the C905 has iplayer.

None of mine ever did.

Dunno my sister got hers from carphone warehouse in May, and it's unbranded and running the latest software. But I know it was in an update from this year, maybe a network removed it to save internet usage.
