Hi Folks

Yesterday afternoon my 905 has started flashing about once every 2 secs. the phone works perfectly (im on 02 have been for a year and its unlocked) but the screen keeps going on and off which needless to say is flaming annoying.

nothing has been changed, addded or updated for months and until yesterday it has worked fine for months, camera works, video works, texts and calls are fine.

tried a reset and even changed the battery over to a spare one, nothing changes still goes on and off

any ideas????


ps it even flashes when the lens is open but still takes pics and video

Sounds like the screens broken. Mine did the same after a few months, flashing, ect. Afetr two days the screen was completely black.

SE fixed it under warranty eventually (took three trips to the incompetent repair centre). So if it's still in warranty they should fix it for free.

You're lucky it's lasted a year, mines 8 months old and has just been sent of too repair for it's 4th fault. Amazing phone when it works, sadly mine doesn't. Total waste of money.

thanks for the reply, update on problem is if it starts flashing and i open then close the lens cover it stops....
