I know its old, but despite having newer phones (most recently the Iphone) I keep going back to it as it does what I want to do better than any of them (I just text and call on it with the very occasional photo)

Anyway I have a few questions

(1) How can I stop the thing accessing the internet / going online ?
For some reason I find I often knock it whilst out and then check to see the little "world" icon at the top

(2) Can the phone be modded ? Can I add new software or make the interface look better ?

(3) What is the most similar phone out the that is "better" than the k800i
