Re: Remote battery life

Are you using "cheapo" batteries? (Read latest Which report)

Good alkalines should last 12 months or so.

Re: Remote battery life

Mine last at least 9 months although my father (an inveterate button presser) manages to get through a set in 3 to 4 months. Alkaline batteries - Tescos, Sainsbury's or Duracell no difference betwwen them.

Re: Remote battery life

You seem to have a faulty remote, perhaps with one of the buttons stuck down (although if it works, this is unlikely).

You can get a new remote for about £15 (even less on eBay).

Much cheaper than new batteries every week!

Re: Remote battery life

Got to be the remote. Even new cheap batteries would last far longer than 6 days.

Re: Remote battery life

I've noticed that rechargeable batteries only last a couple of weeks in mine, but I assume that's because they are rechargeables ?
