SKY + Required

Hi. My sister just has standard sky installed but when she got it installed i asked the installer to run the sky plus cable also for future requirments. She would now like to upgrade to sky +. So is it just a case of buying a box from e-bay and switching box over?

Will the card work in the new unit? And will she have all the same features as a normall sky box installation?

Thanks

" So is it just a case of buying a box from e-bay and switching box over?.."

If the installer installed a twin, or quad LNB, then yes.

"...Will the card work in the new unit?.."

Yes, she will have to call Sky and "pair" the card first.

"..And will she have all the same features as a normall sky box installation?.."

I presume you mean will she have all the features of a Sky+ box?

As long as she has at least one Sky mix, then yes.
