Sky magic eye???

Hi, I've just got one of those magic eye things, but it's not working - the light on the unit isn't lit and I can't change any channels.

I have it running on a coax from the RF1 out of my Sky+ box, then into the magic eye, then into TV - am I doing something wrong?

Help! :s

Re: Sky magic eye???

you need to be using the rf2 output i think.if this still doesn`t work you may not have power to the output.to enable this you need to go to the installers menu via SERVICES, 4, 0, 1, SELECT on your remote.select rf output and make sure the 12v output is selected...

Re: Sky magic eye???

You will not see the "0" option on screen - just press the keys as blakemere has indicated and the installers menu will appear.

Re: Sky magic eye???

Thanks for all your help guys! It's working, weeeee!!!!

The picture is kinda 'wobbly' though - would this be due to the lenth of the RF cable (25m), or another setting I need to change?

To an extent, yes it does, and I'm not the only member to point this out not only in this instance but the various Sky related threads which appear in this section.
As the OP is new here there are allowances to be made but there is a sticky which clearly says
Read First: *****No Sky Related Threads In Here*****

I also did try to help.

There is also this closed thread
http://www.avforums.com/forums/satel...here-here.html
where advice is given in post 40

Change the RF channel number on the Sky Box - remembering to retune your TV afterwards. You can choose channel numbers from 21 to 69.
