Re: sky mobile anytime??

yes, you'll need to setup the remote recored via the sky+ box as well, and it needs to be connected ot the phone line in order to do this. once activated then it all comes through the dish but initial setup must be done through the box first.

Re: sky mobile anytime??

There shouldn't be any 'hope' involved. If it's a new Box then it should be a PVR3. Check in the system details (Services, system setup, system details.) Third line down should read either 9F22 (Pace), 4E21(Thomson) or 4F21 (Amstrad).

Re: sky mobile anytime??

got installed sky+ today got a choice of amstrad or thomson v3 no paces on the van oh well i went for the AMSTRAD DRX-280 160GB As i my old sky box was a amstrad and i have had no trouble for 5 years maybe i went for the wrong choice who knows. Menus seem quick pause and rewind are instant no lag and it seems quiet, So far happy with it even the picture seems better upstairs via the rf2 .I was also impressed with the cable he used it fitted into the old hole as the new cables were joined together no extra hole drilled And a nice outside waterproof plate to keep the rain out
