Sky+ box

Hi im having my sky upgraded to a sky+ box on saturday for £60 I have seen a few threads on here about customers getting a old refurb box and not a new version pvr3. Is there anything i can look out for when it is been installed to make sure im not getting ripped off all shall i ring sky to make sure its the latest version??? or speak to installer thankyou
