I feel like cracking my head open!
The noise from this ****** sky+ box is driving me crazy! Its unbearable. Its a high pitched squeaking noise, and its making me insane. Sometimes I cant even watch tv because of it.

Right, reading a few threads on here suggests its a known problem.

The model of box I have is a Amstrad A2P0524. If I was to ring up sky, and ask for a replacement, what model should I ask for thats quiet?

Thats if they give replacements that is.

The noise is just ruining the entertainment of sky.

That's not an Amstrad model number. They all begin with DRX...
Is the squeaking coming from the fan, Hard Drive, PSU or TV speakers?

The hard drive definitely.

Where do I locate the model number then?
