Quick Sky+ question

I have just moved into a new house which had standard Sky installed.

It currently looks like the old occupants have had an aerial lead intstalled from the back of the tv/Sky through the external wall and run back in through the wall and into a bedroom.

Im guessing they used a splitter to allow the signal to go to two tv's.... My question is can this lead be used in the same manor with Sky+ ???

Im getting Sky+ installed on Saturday and wondered if this would work and if I would need any other items to enable me to watch the signal in two rooms (same picture obviously on both sets as only one Sky+ box)

On a seperate note does anyone know the quality of the Sky+ remote... Will it past through walls or not???

Ha Ha Ha.... very funny!!!

What I meant to say was - Will the IR pass through walls/floors at all so I could control the Sky+ box from a room directly above the box???

Re: Quick Sky+ question

no, IR is line of sight only, hence you can cover the front of the RCu with your hand. you need a TV link device to allow control of the box from another room or a wireless AV sender system.
