Problems with Sky Signal

I have a good old fashioned Sky Digital box. I have installed coax all around the house and have the lot connected via an Amp, which does support Sky.

When I try and view the Sky picture on the 'extended' TV sets the picture is of very low quality. As an extra check I tried to tune in my main set to Sky using COAX (instead of using the normal Scart connector that works fine) and the same thing happened?

What is this likely to mean?

Do I have a fault on my box, or is there something I can do to the box settings to make this work?

I am no expert in this area so can any responses be tailored to an idiot!

Cheers

Mark

Your sky box is probably outputting the same RF channel as one of your terrestial channels , the default setting is 68. Press services then 4 then 01 select , this will take you into the set up menu , scroll down to RF outlets and select , you can then change the RF no , try 38 then retune your TV , if that doesnt work try another no. untill you get a clear pic on your main tv. When you have done this you will have to retune all the other tv's.
