Re: Sky TV Magazine

I don't even get the Sky magazine depsite being subscribed to Sky.

Do you have to request they send it to you? Dosn't sound like I'm missing out on much anyway!

In the old Sky days the magazine used to have a TV guide for all the channels. I guess they don't do that anymore, or that theres any need what with the EPG.

You should get it each month unless you have specifically requested them not to send it. Mine now comes in 3 bits

Part of your monthly subscription is for the magazine. The charge is detailed on the magazine. Remember magazines are not subject to vat, so Sky retain more of your monthly sub by charging for the magazine. Only the remaining bit is subject to vat on which they must account to the Chancellor

Incidentally they won't reduce your sub if you decline the magazine. I've tried

Re: Sky TV Magazine

It needs a detailed monthly coverage of the films showing over the Movie channels, not just the Box Office ones.

Trust me, you don't want it. Buy a proper TV guide mag or get a newspaper that does a decent weekly TV guide as one of its supplements

It's a pity it's not made of toilet paper, at least it would be of some use then!

Re: Sky TV Magazine

Straight into the recycle bin each month without even being looked at.

Useless thing.

And don't forget you're paying £2 per month for it - a long time ago Sky started to produce a 'free' magazine and simultaneously put the price up by £2 .......
