Is Sky waiving the £10 charge ?

Can anybody confirm that Sky is waiving the £10 charge for having Sky+ as of the 01 July?

I'm thinking of getting a 2nd Sky+ for the wife (not a bad swap if you ask me.. ) & wondered what the cost would be after the 01 July?

Correct, the £10p/m subs are going to cease...you still have to pay for the equipment though (i.e. the 2nd Sky+ box) unless you convince them to give you a refurb for free

I currently pay for 2 premium channels (movies) so that I don't have to pay the £10 for Sky+, does this mean that I can cancel the 2 premium channels & save myself £10?

I understand what your saying regarding paying the £10 for multiroom, but any idea how much another Sky+ box would cost me to buy?

No, not too sure what deal you might get from them, simplydigital you will get one for that price but there again there is always ebay.

Re: Is Sky waiving the £10 charge ?

SimplyDigital are selling at £139 (or £149 inc LNB). If anyone wants one cheaper, but still brand new, with 12 months warranty from a large supplier, please let me know via PM.

The Sky+ charge is waivered on any subscription package from 1st July. Sky however are not offering any outstanding deals to existing customers to upgrade, although bare in mind that a twin/quad LNB is 'ideally' needed for Sky+, so factor in the cost of installation etc.
