Re: changing local ITV News on sky

ITV regions are allocated strictly by postcodes given to Sky by ITV and unless you are both a subscriber and have moved home into a different region they will not change them.

You can add any ITV region to "other channels" on a Sky dodgibox - "Services" "System setup" "Add channels" - you will need the details for the other chanels from here
http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html
i.e Frequency (tp), Polarisation (V or H), Symbol rate (at the top of each block of channels 22,000 or 27,500 input on box as 22 or 27.5) and the FEC (5/6 ,2/3 etc). Click on find channels and follow onscreen instructions (not forgetting to store them).

To view channels "Services" "Other channels"

Re: changing local ITV News on sky

Have tried adding another ITV region but it doesn't seem to work.

Are you sure you can do this or am I missing something?

The region I want comes up on the screen, & I store it but its nowhere to be seen on the scheduled list

Can you confirm the procedure again & also that the box will allow you to add these channels?

They WILL NOT appear in the EPG schedule lists - read the bottom line of my post - to view them "Services" "Other channels"
